- 3-4 lacinato kale leaves with the stems removed
- 1/4 bunch parsley. There is no need to remove the sprigs.
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons organic chia seeds

Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients except for the chia seeds in a blender. Remove the mixture from the blender and add the chia seeds. You may choose to refrigerate it to make it cooler or have it immediately.
Recipe Notes
When making a smoothie, you may add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil for added nutrient and blood sugar stabilizing benefits. You can always substitute spinach, collard greens, chard or any other leafy green for kale. When you add organic chia seeds and/ or freshly ground flax seeds, you will benefit from the additional omega 3 fatty acids and fiber.
